These are the terms for using Pip, a home maintenance reminder app made by Sajdak Ventures LLC. By using Pip or piphome.app, you agree to them. We've written them in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
Pip is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it, and it isn't directed at children. If you're under 18, please don't use Pip.
Pip reminds you when your home appliances need care. You tell it a brand and model, and it builds a maintenance schedule — from a shared library when it already knows that model, or with help from AI when it doesn't. Reminders are scheduled locally on your phone.
When Pip doesn't already have a schedule for your appliance, it asks Claude (Anthropic's AI) to build one. AI-generated schedules may be wrong. Always follow your appliance's actual owner's manual over anything Pip tells you. Pip is not responsible for any damage, injury, or voided warranty that results from following a Pip reminder or schedule.
Some tasks — anything involving gas, electrical wiring, refrigerant, or your furnace — may need a licensed professional. Pip will flag these where it can, but the responsibility to call a professional, and to use good judgment generally, is yours.
Pip refers to appliance brand and model names only to identify which appliance a schedule is for. Pip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any appliance manufacturer mentioned in the app or on this site, and those brand names belong to their respective owners.
Some tasks link to places to buy a supply (like a filter or descaling solution). Pip may earn a commission on purchases made through these links, at no extra cost to you. These links open your browser or the retailer's own app — never a view inside Pip — and we don't control the retailer's prices, stock, or policies.
Pip is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that schedules are accurate, that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your particular needs.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Sajdak Ventures LLC isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pip, including property damage, personal injury, or a voided manufacturer warranty. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
Pip creates a quiet anonymous account on your behalf the first time you open it; see the privacy policy for what that does and doesn't include. You can delete your account and data at any time from Settings in the app.
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll make sure it's easy to notice the next time you open the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
